Yeah it's not an expensive game, and while I think the 3d imagining would have been good for it's time - I feel like now, it's a bit too clumsy for me, I'm giving 4 too.Worms Ultimate Mayhem Free Steam Key. It's like my normal laser, but shoots rainbows!ДЄI know it's a compilation of older games, but for a game about blowing stuff up it's got pretty lack lustre destruction. Although, I found once you got a stationary machine gun, it kind of ruined it because they're so powerful, that they often shoot you before you can even select a weapon to use.ДЄ bit Darren yeah, too much power in one weapon can ruin the fun. I can see they've tried to make them fun with different objectives like collecting tools, and teach you about the different weapons and gadgets such as the parachute. I didn't last long with the story mode guys. But there is a story mode too, which starts of by getting you to blow up a diner, which for some reason has been stacked with TNT. On the single player side of things, the worms 3D campaign from the 2003 game is the most fun and has a good variety of levels and you can choose to play any chapter you like. You can also customise your own worms and weapons in a menu, and build your own special weapon. There's also dynamite, shotguns, the classic bazookas and my favourite, the exploding sheep. There is a decent variety of weapons though, baseball bats which are useful for knocking people into the water, along with the fire punch. Most games start off easy and then get more challenging, but the computer controlled worms were often terrible at attacking and they never seemed to improve as you progressed.

I was unimpressed with the Artificial Intelligence.

In the 2D worm games, you can do a bit of trail and error and really work at your timing, but here I found it was a bit random. Even in the first person view though Bajo, I found it hard judging power. There's a lot of timing involved in this game, but there is also a time limit which makes this quite intense. You need to time your standard jump and double jump perfectly. more than once I backflipped into the water Bajo. You can't move in this perspective which is a shame because moving around in 3rd person is fiddly and you often your worm doesn't go where you want it to. Yes to fire most weapons, you'll be going into the first person view. Things like dynamite don't matter because you can put them right next to your enemy, but trying to aim a grenade or rocket launcher in that view is tough.

At first I really struggled, the camera pivots on your worm and in that view it's very inaccurate when it comes to aiming.

I've always struggled a little with the camera in 3D worms games because there are so many more angles than in the 2D games. There are a variety of weapons in the game with most relying on trajectory and power to hit your targets. Falling in water means instant death, and if you get hurt in your turn, you have to miss it. The objective is to take it in turns to obliterate your opposition's worms with assorted weaponry. There have been loads of them and for the most part, they've always been fun, even though the formula has remained essentially the same.ДЄ few of them have been made in 3D and now two of them have been combined to form Worms Ultimate Mayhem.Дarren, would you like to tell the spawnlings how worms works?ДЄffirmative.
